![]() ![]() ![]() The games are worth having, they are great! Glad to finally be able to play them. Would hope to see another remastered version of these Redux versions.Īlso, would like to see patches come out, the games are great, but would like to see more performance optimizations and implementations of DirectX 12 with Direct3D feature level 12_1. Though PhysX has been updated since the Redux versions were released, new graphics drivers and graphics cards, new DirectX 12, Vulkan was also new and released after, and so many other features and anti-aliasing has come out since then. The 2 games aren't well optimized in performance with visuals, I've had games with visual quality much like theirs and can get higher frame rates with max settings at 1080p. So that could play a part in the graphics for both games while having all settings maxed except the SSAA only at 2x just to keep the frame rates above 100. I get about 110 - 150 fps average, sometimes 170 fps when in specific areas or looking specific directions, and I'm also using the EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Elite Gaming iCX white edition which was $850 dollars if you look at that graphics card, it's amazing, with 12 GHz Video Memory speeds instead of 11 GHz, and 528 GB / Sec Memory Bandwidth, it's at a whole other level. I have all settings maxed except SSAA at 2x in Metro: Last Light Redux and Metro: 2033 Redux, at 1080p, PhysX in the other settings from both games is on, and all visual qualities maxed, with no vsync. above the other 2 older games? Well I say this because. the 2 games leave you wanting more, so glad Metro Exodus is coming out, I will be expecting better visuals and latest graphical features, not sure what to think about the trailer for Metro: Exodus, nice scene, the graphics though comparible just a hair. The game is rather good when you don't add things like that. The game is great, I just don't want to sink that low, yes it's a choice to not interact with, but it's still something I don't want to see in my games, so far there were 2 times in the first game it happened, Metro: Last Light Redux (lap dance scene) when you pay for it. I didn't find necessary and could have / should have not been in the game, I don't care if that's a Russian cultural thing or because it's from a nuclear fallout and everyone is underground, there's just so many things wrong about that in the story. ![]() The seductive scenes and interactions "as few as they were". ![]() Not sure if I cared too much about it all being Russian, but I stil enjoyed it. Pretty sad when Fallout 4 can't compare, and this game doesn't show enough of the surface, not a lot of the city as huge as it is, I mean you can't visit those places and you can't stay at the surface that long in these 2 games, and it's still more facinating / interesting in both games of Metro: Last Light Redux, and Metro: 2033 Redux. The 2 games actually makes the surface more interesting to visit and look at, and to want to learn more about, than Fallout 4. Would like to see faster mist / fog like in the intros of the 2 games, when you go to the surface, and many other details. Hope the game devs come acrossed this, would like to really see another modern remastered version, with lots of other features and places to visit, with maybe more mutants? I would enjoy the 2 games remastered yet again for todays modern texturing, animations, model / object details, and graphical features / technologies. ![]()
